• type 1: only card brush, for cleaning of coarse cut files and rasps
• type 2: one side file card brush and one side nylon bristles. Bristles allow a gentle cleaning on fine cut files and on model makers’ rasps, without affecting tooth sharpening.

They are different from normal wood rasps because they have:
• a higher surface hardness, comparable to files, therefore a longer service life
• tooth shape (razor sharpening) that allows an outstanding cutting capacity with no effort and less strokes
• a special teeth pattern, never seen before, that allows an excellent surface finishing that leaves no scratches on the workpiece, unless the direction of strokes, even if used by left-handers.

They are used by goldsmiths for wax modeling and shaping, musical instruments manufacturers and cabinet makers for working on small surfaces and finishing. Thanks to their round shank, they can be used also without handle.
